Calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) scale formation is a prevalent issue in various industrial and domestic water systems, leading to decreased efficiency, increased energy consumption, and higher maintenance costs. Traditional chemical inhibitors, while effective, often pose environmental hazards. This study investigates the potential of tea waste extracts as eco-friendly inhibitors for CaCO₃ scale formation. The results indicate that tea waste extracts significantly reduce scale deposition, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional chemical inhibitors.
