Marine ecosystems harbor a diverse array of microorganisms, many of which produce bioactive compounds with potential therapeutic applications. This study investigates the anticancer properties of intracellular proteins derived from exophytic bacteria associated with the brown algae Sargassum sp. Through protein extraction, hydrolysis, and subsequent in vitro assays, we evaluated the cytotoxic effects of these proteins on various cancer cell lines. Our findings suggest significant anticancer activity, highlighting their potential as natural therapeutic agents.
