Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) was synthesized through a green approach using Syzygium cumini leaf extract via the standard impregnation method. The resulting material was characterized using UV-Visible spectroscopy and Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activity of the synthesized TiO₂ was assessed using methylene blue (MB) as a model pollutant. The composite demonstrated improved photocatalytic efficiency under visible light irradiation compared to pure TiO₂.
