This study investigates the physicochemical properties and phytochemical constituents of leaves from Millettia pinnata (commonly known as karanj). The analysis revealed the presence of alkaloids, tannins, resins, phenols, carbohydrates, cardiac glycosides, proteins, and more. Detailed experimental methods and results are provided, including high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) fingerprint profiles. These findings highlight the medicinal potential of karanj leaves and provide a basis for quality control and standardization.
